Corporate Communication in Lundbeck
Corporate Communication drives and facilitates communication to profile and build trust in Lundbeck, engage employees and ensure their understanding of strategic priorities. Hereby we create the foundation for stakeholder preference, the company’s license to operate and a high performing organization achieving its strategic objectives.
We are part of Corporate Communication & Public Affairs which employs 10 people in total. As a team, we recognize hard work but we also put a lot of effort into creating an informal and fun workplace. We believe in individual responsibility and work with a high degree of self-planning.
The position is based in Valby, Denmark, but can entail shorter periods abroad.
Your job and the journey
As Video Journalist, you play a pivotal role in Lundbeck’s proactive communication to employees and external stakeholders, i.e. the press. Working across the organisation you identify, research, shape and tell stories about Lundbeck’s progress and the difference it makes to patients and society. You show the difference we make and thereby enhance the visibility of and trust in Lundbeck.
You are skilled in recording and editing video for professional use, but you work with multiple formats and channels depending on the story and its target audience, so you will also be producing articles, press releases and updates for social media. You have a strong sense of a good story and know which format and which channels to use to tell it with most impact.
You will both be producing and distributing content on your own and act as a facilitator for others to execute communication initiatives. You will work with different departments in our headquarters as well as supporting our affiliates. You will be preparing managers and other spokespersons and act as a spokesperson yourself when relevant. Further you will take part in the ongoing servicing of external media, including handling of media inquiries.
During the programme you will also participate in a wide range of development activities on your own as well as with other graduates - everything designed to guide you through the programme, making sure you are on track and able to unfold your potential.
Our preferred graduate has the following qualifications:
- A Master’s degree in journalism or communication, i.e. video journalist, with a maximum of one year post-academic work experience
- You are a journalist, camera man and producer in one. You record and edit video yourself, but can produce content in other formats as well, i.e. text.
- You know what a good story consists of and how to research and produce it for different audiences in and outside the company.
- You have the technical clout to handle i.e. video storage and streaming.
- You have strong skills in both written and spoken Danish and English.
- You are ambitious and proactive and set high standards for the quality of your work.
- You have a strong personal drive, you start up and finish tasks and can act independently while also being a team-player.
